Every year, thousands of Australians choose to include a gift to charity in their will. Such ‘legacy giving’ enables these people to create a long-lasting impact that can be felt for years after their passing. Around 25% of all charity revenue comes from gifts left in wills. For Oceania Radiofrequency Scientific Advisory Association Inc. (ORSAA), all such gifts would help us to continue our work in raising awareness about the effects of wireless radiation and man-made electromagnetic fields and conducting independent research in the following areas of health: brain tumours associated with mobile phone use; risk factors associated with brain cancers in children; effects on children's cognition; electrohypersensitivity (EHS) research and support; male fertility effects; effects on the body’s immune system, particularly the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma; and effects of EMFs on the environment. Without your help, we will have to scale back our work severely. Our efforts towards education and raising awareness, having electrohypersensitivity recognised as a real health syndrome, demonstrating the promotional effects on cancers and the effect on children (particularly at school), and monitoring EMFs in communities must not be lost in this generation. Thankfully, this type of giving is becoming more popular. Since 2021, the online will provider organisation Gatheredhere has seen over 30,000 wills written via its platform and an estimated $350 million pledged to worthy causes nationwide. We have now partnered with Gatheredhere so as to make legacy giving easy for our supporters. If you choose to pledge a gift to ORSAA, we will receive 100% of that gift. Gatheredhere takes no cuts from gifts. You can write a will for free just by clicking the button below. Importantly, even if you’re not ready to pledge a gift to charity, you can still use this opportunity to complete your will for free. Whether you include a gift or not, completing your will is an act of kindness to the people closest to you. It brings them clarity in a time that will no doubt be stressful, lets your loved ones know your final wishes and ensures your assets go where you want them to.
